Throughout the school year the CCA PTO sponsors activities that engage students, parents, staff, and the local community. The PTO website has lots of information including links to social media.
The popular Spirit Nights give families, staff, and the community the opportunity to support a featured school group as well as a local restaurant. PTO held its October Spirit Night at Corbett’s in Sanford on October 14th. The next Spirit Night will be on Wednesday, November 12, at Catherine Ann’s (2053 S Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC 27330).
On Friday, October 24, the PTO sponsored a fall event on campus. A Trunk or Treat for CCA friends and families was from 6:00-7:30 pm. The Boo Bash social exclusively for CCA students started at 7:00 and ended at 8:30 pm.
Boo Bash plans:
- Costume Contest
- Mummy Wrap
- Halloween Musical Spots (like musical chairs)
- Guess the amount of Candy in the Jar
- Halloween music and an opportunity to hang out with friends
- Students are encouraged to bring their camp chairs and outdoor games.
- Refreshments will be sold by school clubs and organizations.
