Apply to Central Carolina Academy

Online application will be open on October 1st. Current CCA students do not need to reapply.

Applying to Be a CCA Student

As Central Carolina Academy continues to grow toward full enrollment capacity, seats may be available in some grade levels for the upcoming school year.

The application for the 2027–2028 school year will open on October 1, 2026.

Families interested in attending CCA should complete the online application through Infinite Campus once the application period opens. Please enter all required information carefully and accurately, as the information provided will be used throughout the application and enrollment process.

After the application period closes, applications will be processed in accordance with Central Carolina Academy's enrollment and lottery procedures. If the number of eligible applicants for a grade level exceeds the number of available seats, CCA will conduct a random lottery through Infinite Campus. Applicants who are not offered a seat through the lottery will be placed on the waitlist in the order determined by the lottery.

Families will be notified of their student's application status, including a seat offer or waitlist placement, using the contact information provided during the application process.

Families receiving a seat offer will be given a specified period of time to accept the offer and complete the required enrollment steps. If an offer is not accepted by the stated deadline, the seat may be offered to the next eligible student on the waitlist.

Please make sure your contact information remains current throughout the application and enrollment process so you do not miss important notifications from Central Carolina Academy.

Current CCA students do not have to reapply.

Overview

Central Carolina Academy is a tuition-free public school. To qualify to attend a North Carolina public school, a student must be a resident of North Carolina. County boundaries or school attendance areas do not affect charter school enrollment. Central Carolina Academy does not limit admission to students on the basis of intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, disability, race, creed, gender, national origin, or ancestry.

Lottery Information

A lottery is used because more students apply for admission than can be enrolled per grade level. The new student lottery application period for the 2027–2028 school year is from October 1, 2026 until January 16, 2027 at 5:00 pm.
