Don’t miss our upcoming Spirit Night on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Zaxby’s (3220 NC Hwy 87, Sanford). The PTO Dance Committee will earn 10% of the sales proceeds. The money raised will go towards the 8^th grade dance.  Don’t forget to mention CCA when placing your order. 

Show your school spirit by ordering some Soaring Eagles attire! The PTO has opened the Shopify Spirit Wear Store for the spring through March 27th. The store website is: Central Carolina Academy PTO Online Store. Orders will be available for pick up at the school starting April 20th.

On Tuesday, March 10, from 4:00-9:00 p.m., the PTO will earn 20% of the sales proceeds at the Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery (3268 NC 87, Sanford). The money raised will go toward the gym fund. Mention CCA and show the “Eat for Funds Flyer” (or a screenshot of it) when placing your order. As always, the PTO values everyone’s support of their fundraising efforts.

On Wednesday, March 10, support the Soaring Eagles golf program by eating at Golden Corral (2618 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford) between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The CCA PTO will sponsor a Spirit Night on Tuesday, February 10, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Arby’s (2501 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford). The PTO will earn 25% of the sales proceeds. Don’t forget to mention CCA when placing your order. The organizers look forward to seeing everyone and appreciate the level of support for Spirit Night events.

Throughout the school year the CCA PTO sponsors activities that engage students, parents, staff, and the local community. The PTO website has lots of information including links to social media.

The popular Spirit Nights give families, staff, and the community the opportunity to support a featured school group as well as a local restaurant. PTO held its October Spirit Night at Corbett’s in Sanford on October 14th. The next Spirit Night will be on Wednesday, November 12, at Catherine Ann’s (2053 S Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC 27330).

On Friday, October 24, the PTO sponsored a fall event on campus. A Trunk or Treat for CCA friends and families was from 6:00-7:30 pm. The Boo Bash social exclusively for CCA students started at 7:00 and ended at 8:30 pm.

Boo Bash plans:

• Costume Contest
• Mummy Wrap
• Halloween Musical Spots (like musical chairs)
• Guess the amount of Candy in the Jar
• Halloween music and an opportunity to hang out with friends
• Students are encouraged to bring their camp chairs and outdoor games.
• Refreshments will be sold by school clubs and organizations.

The Central Carolina Academy Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) actively supports the school by sponsoring events, special appreciation efforts, and a variety of fundraising opportunities. The PTO is always looking for additional parental involvement and encourages everyone in the CCA community to volunteer. The PTO webpage has additional information to keep everyone well informed.

The PTO will sponsor Spirit Nights throughout the school year to assist school groups, clubs, and organizations with fundraising. Area restaurants partner with PTO and give portions of the proceeds to the featured groups. The September Spirit Night proceeds will go to the volleyball program.

As one of its school spirit initiatives, PTO is currently sponsoring a spirit wear logo design contest.

PTO held its fall meeting on August 28th, but is always looking for parent involvement in its activities between meetings.

The PTO will hold its final Spirit Night of the school year on Tuesday, May 6, from 4:00-9:00 pm. The host restaurant will be Teriyaki Express located at 2610 S Horner Boulevard in Sanford. The May Spirit Night will be even more profitable for CCA than usual with 20% of all proceeds coming to the school. Many school organizations that have benefited from the monthly Spirit Night events sponsored by PTO and local restaurants and appreciate the support.

The CCA PTO has sponsored multiple on-campus and off-campus events since the school year began in August. Their efforts center on fundraising for various Soaring Eagles organizations and supporting strong school spirit. The PTO is sponsoring two events in March.

Eighth graders can enjoy a dance on Friday night, March 7, from 7:00-9:30 pm at the Westlake Club House (1321 Gormly St., Sanford). Tickets can be purchased at lunch on Thursday and Friday. March 6 and 7, for $10. The theme of the dance is Celebrate the Night in Black & White.

A Spirit Night fundraiser will be on Tuesday evening, March 11, at Sarkus Express (3094 S. Horner Blvd., Sanford). The school community can support CCA from 5:00-9:00 pm with 10% of of purchases going to the school.

PTO sponsors a Teacher Appreciation Week each year. The 2025 theme is “Our Teachers Who Mean the WORLD to us!” Parents were instrumental in the donations to make the week of March 17th special. The international theme days are an Italian lunch on Monday, London afternoon tea on Tuesday, a French breakfast on Wednesday, an “in flight snack” with classroom delivery on a cart for Thursday, and a taco bar on Friday.
