Meet the Board

Tyra has served on the PTO for the last 4 years.  Her son is a sophomore.  She loves CCA! The warm support of the teachers and staff creates a great learning environment, and the curriculum is challenging; a great combination to grow young minds! Tyra moved to North Carolina after retiring from a 25-year military career. She picked Sanford for the small-town feel and engaging community. Tyra is an active member of her church and enjoys volunteering in the community. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading, and gardening!

Kelly has served on the CCA PTO in various positions since 2023 and is excited about the growth and future she envisions for CCA.  She, her husband (Angel), and daughter (Kayla) moved from Miami, Florida, to Cary in 2019 before settling into their forever home in Sanford in late 2020. They quickly fell in love with the community and enjoy the slower pace and improved quality of life compared to the hustle and bustle of Miami.  Kayla is now a freshman in her fourth year at CCA. Kelly’s stepdaughter (Astrid) is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Miami and serves as President of her graduating class (2028).  Professionally, Kelly works in purchasing, contracts, and finance for a government health plan (LME-MCO). Outside of work, she spends most of her time as an active “soccer mom.” She loves cooking, traveling, being outdoors, riding roller coasters, and spending time with her family. CCA holds a special spot in her heart, and she is committed to supporting the success of the students, families, and staff as we continue to soar to new heights!

Anna has twin daughters in 7th grade at CCA.  She was one of the original founding Board members for CCA and has enjoyed watching the school soar to success.  She is actively involved in the community and loves giving back to the town where she was born and raised.  Anna spent 15 years working for BB&T/Truist as a commercial banker.  In her spare time, Anna enjoys attending her daughter's sporting events, spending time with family, and traveling.  

I’m a 37‑year‑old mom of three and a proud firefighter wife who thrives in both family life and the fast‑paced world of hospitality. I’ve spent over nine years in the cruise industry and currently work for Carnival Cruise Line as an Event Planner, overseeing four ships from shore side: the Adventure, Glory, Panorama, and the Spirit. I graduated from East Carolina University with my B.S. in Hospitality Management and am now pursuing my Master’s in Business with a focus on Project Management. Two of my children attend CCA—one in 10th grade and one in 7th—and I’m deeply connected to the school through many close friends who are teachers. I love this school, its community, and the dedication it shows to helping students grow. I’m excited and proud to support CCA as we soar into the 2026–2027 school year.

My name is Farrah Roberts, and I’m excited to serve on the PTO Board in Fundraising and Events this school year.  I have three children-one in 9^th grade at CCA and two in 2^nd grade at Tramway Elementary.

 I wanted to join the PTO to be more involved with my children’s school community and to give my time and help wherever I’m needed. I have known some of the school’s administrators and teachers for over 20 years and love the CCA family that has been created. 

I am the Office Manager for my local family business, Worth Parker Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC, where I am fortunate to have the flexibility to work from home.  I also hold an associate’s degree in accounting and finance. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, thrifting, and taking adult tap/hip hop classes.  I’m looking forward to a great year of working together to create fun events and successful fundraisers for our school and students.

Hi, I’m Amy, but most people call me Mrs. Amy!  I’m originally from Minnesota, and yes… you will definitely be able to tell! 😂❄️ While I’ll always have a little Minnesota in me, CCA has definitely given me a second home. ❤️💙I’m a proud mom to Tanner, and now a very emotional (and proud!) senior mom. Tanner has been at CCA since the doors opened, so CCA has truly become a huge part of our family and our lives. 🦅❤️

My name is Lori Maynor, and I am proud to serve as the school nurse at CCA. Before joining CCA, I spent 14 years working in the ER, where I gained valuable experience caring for people in all kinds of situations.

I have been blessed to be part of CCA since the doors opened in 2022, and it truly was the best decision ever! I was born and raised in Sanford, and I’m married to my wonderful husband, Tommy. Together, we have four children and nine amazing grandchildren who bring so much joy to our lives.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family, especially camping and going on cruises. One of my favorite things to do is explore antique and thrift stores—I never know what treasure I might find!

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the CCA family and look forward to continuing to serve our students and families every day.

Dana Miller currently has three children attending CCA, as well as an alumna from the first graduating class. Dana has served in many roles within the PTA and PTO arenas across several local schools. At this time, she serves as Chair-Person for Teacher Appreciation, as well as supporting other events and fundraising. Dana believes that strong teachers and staff create strong students. Thus, it’s important to cultivate appreciation and respect for our classroom teachers on a regular basis. Thank you in advance to all the families that support our teacher appreciation efforts!

Brandy is a Lee County native and proud CCA parent. She has a senior, Aiden, and an 8th grader, Emery, at CCA. She has more than 10 years of PTO experience, including the past three years at CCA.

Brandy has also served on the Board of Directors for Ascend Leadership Academy and the Lee County Literacy Council. Professionally, she is a manager in Computer System Validation at Pfizer, where she also helps coordinate Benevity grant opportunities for CCA.

At CCA, Brandy serves as the liaison between the PTO and Board of Directors and helps communicate PTO and school updates to the parent community. She is passionate about supporting CCA’s students, staff, and families and believes our school is worth advocating for and investing in.

Cendy is a new member of the CCA PTO and is excited to get involved! She has a daughter in the 6th grade this year. Cendy and her family recently moved to Sanford and are enjoying getting to know the community and finding their place here. She works in events, so bringing people together and organizing things is right up her alley! Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking sourdough (with varying levels of success), and collecting houseplants she is determined to keep alive. She'slooking forward to meeting more CCA families and helping make this a great year!
